ELDER LAW ATTORNEY, ED SPINKS, ESQ.
Ed Spinks, founder of Spinks Law Firm, has been practicing law in the area of elder law, estate planning, and special needs law for over 20 years. He is a Board Certified Elder Law Attorney in the state of Florida.
Ed has a diverse background, combining military service with a career in law. He served in the Army during the Gulf War and later as a Marine Corps officer. His civilian experience includes working as a firefighter and EMT. He holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctor from Florida State University.
Ed is a seasoned litigator with experience in both military and civilian courts. He served as a military prosecutor and has represented individuals in various legal matters. He is passionate about advocating for the rights of people with disabilities, particularly those with Down syndrome, as a father of a child with the condition. Ed’s unique blend of military discipline, legal expertise, and personal commitment makes him a dedicated and effective advocate for his clients.
